• I would like to register Kendall into CMIT for the 2012-2013 academic year because when Kendall was in the 4th or 5th grade attending PG County Public Schools he said to me one day that he would like to go to a school that would offer more science than the science he was getting approximately once a week because he wants to be a civil engineer and he knows that he would need science and math to become a civil engineer for his future. Now for a child that young to come to his parent and request for a better education, me as the parent looked for a schooling that would offer what my child needed to fulfill his goal. I went to PGCPS and looked under the science schools and was very impressed with CMIT, so I filled out the lottery form and was accepted. I am glad I did because I think CMIT is a great school and Kendall could gain a lot of knowledge from it. I discussed with Kendall what he thought of CMIT and he said that he would prefer to stay at CMIT because he can see that CMIT can help him gain the knowledge he would need to exceed for his future goal.
